Book Selection for October 2024: At The Hour of Dog and Wolf by Tara Ison. This book tells the story of a twelve year old Parisian Jewish girl in World War 2 France, living “in hiding’ as a Catholic orphan with a family in a small Vichy village. This brilliantly written, psychological, and compelling novel will speak to you about identity and cultural annihilation. Relevant then, and relevant today!
